Le sigue Honduras, con aprox. <strong>112.090 km\u00b2<\/strong>y Guatemala, que tiene <strong>108.889 km\u00b2<\/strong>. Esta diferencia hace que Nicaragua supere a sus vecinos m\u00e1s cercanos por un margen significativo en t\u00e9rminos de expansi\u00f3n territorial.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">A pesar de ocupar el tercer lugar en t\u00e9rminos de superficie, Guatemala es en gran medida l\u00edder en t\u00e9rminos de poblaci\u00f3n, por delante de <strong>18 millones de habitantes<\/strong>lo que refleja una mayor densidad de poblaci\u00f3n en comparaci\u00f3n con los otros dos.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">En contraste, los pa\u00edses con menor \u00e1rea territorial son El Salvador (<strong>21.041 km\u00b2<\/strong>) y Belice (aprox. <strong>23.000 km\u00b2<\/strong>), seguidos de Costa Rica y Panam\u00e1, que ocupan posiciones intermedias en el ranking regional.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Esta distribuci\u00f3n territorial resalta la diversidad geogr\u00e1fica de Centroam\u00e9rica, donde un solo pa\u00eds puede cubrir casi una cuarta parte de toda el \u00e1rea regional.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Centroam\u00e9rica Su superficie total es de aprox. 523.000 km\u00b2.
